Day 1 in Paris

We woke up bright and early to start our day of adventures. But first things first... A French bakery. On the way to the metro, we found the perfect spot to have breakfast. I got a Croque Monsieur and a Chocolate Croissant. Both were delicious!

Then we took a ride on the Metro and got off in  Montmartre. The exit from the Metro was similar to the feeling to climbing Mt Everest due to the never-ending circular staircase from the center of the Earth, but once you get to the surface it is really beautiful! We then took a walk to the Sacré Coeur where we encountered, you guessed it, more stairs to go into this beautiful old church. It was so powerful being there. I felt really amazed and a little emotional being in such an old and holy place.

Once we left, we just walked around and got drinks and eventually had a nice dinner and got ready for day 2!

Day 2

Today was going to be about seeing more of the famous Parisian sights. We got tickets to a hop-on hop-of boat tour. During this we got of and saw the Louvre.

As a person who has always had a love of art, this stop was very interesting and one that i have always wanted to see. While we didn't actually go in on this trip (which i will definitely be doing in the future) it was still really cool to see.

Just behind the entrance of the Louvre, there is a courtyard where you can walk around. It was really beautiful and peaceful. There were a few different musicians playing and the ambiance was something special.

After the Louvre, we hopped back on the boat and went to the Eiffel Tower! It was beautiful. By the time we got there it was almost dark, which meant it would start sparkling soon.

We decided to go and get some food from one of the stores nearby and have a picnic on the river and watch the lights.

It was so beautiful! We had a lot of fun seeing it twinkle during our dinner.

Day 3

For our last day in Paris, we decided to relax a little on the sight seeing. We spent our day walking around the park by the Eiffel Tower and going back on the hop-on hop-off boat.

We also stopped in at a Christian Louboutin store! The one we stopped in just happened to be their flagship store, which was pretty cool. I got to try on a few different shoes that I liked and even went home with a pair! I can cross that off my bucket list! Then we wandered some more had a nice relaxing night before we had to fly back.
