The TV Tower is Germany's tallest tower, built in 1969 and coming in at 368-meters tall and one of the most famous and recognizable landmarks.
You can see the TV Tower from most places around Berlin and while seeing it in person is amazing, going to the top and eating at the Restaurant Sphere is top notch!
Restaurant Sphere
The Restaurant Sphere is located at the top of the TV Tower, 203 meters in the sky. You take an elevator to the top and are immediately greeted with the gorgeous views of Berlin.
You need tickets to go up the elevator but they offer a variety of ticket options. They have adult tickets as well as kid tickets. They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Views from the Top
While enjoying the great food, the restaurant actually rotates so you get amazing views for your whole meal and you get to see all of Berlin.
While we went at night time and got to see everything lit up for people to enjoy during the dark, I believe the views would still be spectacular during the day.
I would want to go during the day next time and try to see everything that is farther out of the city and see the finer details from above.
You can also buy tickets to just enjoy the observation deck as well as the bar that is located next to the restaurant.
Food!!
The food we ordered was all very good. There were few options on the menu but all of them sounded amazing which made it difficult to choose what I wanted. But everything we ordered tasted delicious! I cant wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer!
